Position:
SAS has an opening for a Manufacturing Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a section or department to achieve optimal efficiency while showing respect and compassion for the people and company.
Consistently apply quality control throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that problems are avoided, recognized and/or corrected.
Review and analyze reports to predict or correct production flow issues.
Learn how to use and help the team with utilization of LeadTec, our shop-floor workflow tracking and real-time payroll system.
Job Qualifications:
1-5 years of manufacturing experience.
Responsible and self-motivated with a strong work ethic to work independently.
Must be a team player that can work well with others.
Willing to get involved in anything and everything with an “It Can Be Done” attitude.
Must have respect and empathy for co-workers, their team and the company.
Good communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Mathematical strength and highly analytical.
Ability to multi task, learn quickly, prioritize and to diligently follow up.
Excellent organizational skills to handle a busy environment.
Physical Requirements:
Physical labor is necessary for 8 hours or more per day with breaks approximately every two hours including standing walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, talking, hearing and engaging in repetitive motions.
Excellent vision to inspect the quality of their work.
Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 20lbs.
Must have good eye and hand coordination.
Education & Experience Requirements:
1-5 years of shoemaking/manufacturing experience or general manufacturing experience & production facilities or equivalent education.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel (Spreadsheets), Outlook, etc.
Able to work with ERP and Production Flow programs or learn quickly.
High School diploma or equivalent.
