*In a typical day the Superintendent may do the following:*
* Maintain a sense of urgency and professionalism
* Assist in managing subcontractors and coordinating subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met and understand construction sequencing
* Assist in conceptual development of work plans, and project implementationPossess rudimentary scheduling skills, with an understanding of scheduling concepts
* Safety- read and understand the Accident Prevention Plan and execute the plan to include all documentation.
* Develop and implement a working knowledge of the client required safety programs, whether private or the Corps of Engineer safety manual/requirements
* Develop and understand infection control standards and methods
* Identify and assist in resolving problems and conflicts early by utilizing specific controls established in the QCP
* Manage schedule, close out and job cost with senior management oversight
* Manage the QC and Safety program with senior management oversight
* Develop monthly progress reports to the customer
* Develop Monthly Risk Reports
* Manage the submittal process
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* 5 years electrical superintendent experience
* minimum of 2 years electrical trade/ technical experience
* 2 years of federal government contracting experience preferred
* CQM Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED, and EM 385-1-1 certificate preferred.
