1 Essential Position Functions
Facilities Support
Check and maintain the functionality of electrical and hydraulic systems in buildings.
Perform repairs and installations, including both preventative maintenance and larger repairs as needed.
Collaborate with contractors and service providers, managing relationships to ensure effective repairs and installations.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and provide daily activity reports.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.
Support scheduled safety and quality inspection.
Fulfill all assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist with janitorial work as needed.
Equipment
Monitor and track equipment inventory, ensuring availability for maintenance needs.
Perform refueling of generators and maintenance of water systems.

2 Minimum Position Requirements
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities maintenance and construction; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Continued employment is subject to maintaining all required licenses and certificates in active status without suspension or revocation.
Proficiency in facility systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, and electricity.
Experience using a variety of power tools, hand tools, plumbing equipment, and ground maintenance tools.
Knowledge of employee supervision, work planning, discipline, and performance evaluation.
Familiarity with relevant laws and ordinances related to public works infrastructure.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingualism is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively, establish relationships, and contribute to team goals.
Skill in maneuvering, towing, and transporting equipment.

3 Reporting Structure:
The Facilities Technician will report directly to Basecamp Assistant Site Manager.
