MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician works on work orders, repairs, renovations, unit turnover and on-call emergencies.
The Maintenance Technician will assist the Lead Maintenance Technician and the Community Manager in implementing maintenance programs, policies, procedures, and preventative maintenance efforts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
Estimate time and extent of repairs
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Maintain material and supply inventory
Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in apartment maintenance required
Must be HVAC certified
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Deadline and detail-oriented
Must have reliable transportation
BENEFITS:
Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days of employment.
Benefits offered include medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as 401K and life insurance.
Regular, full-time associates are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
